Welcome to United Family Church where we LOVE kids! It's our joy to partner with parents to help kids know God and grow in a relationship with Him!

We are here to help children:

  • Experience God & understand the Bible (prayer)
  • Develop healthy relationships (community)
  • Serve those around them (missions)

Sunday Mornings at United Family Church:

Elementary age children begin Sunday mornings in the main service. We want them to learn how to worship, pray, and enjoy God's Presence with their church family. They are dismissed to their own service after the offering. Parents are welcome to walk their child to his/her class or let them walk upstairs with the other kids.

Our current class breakdown: Nursery/Preschool (Birth - 5 years), Elementary (kindergarten - 5th grade.

Our elementary services are engaging, fun, and focus on helping kids get to know Jesus. Kids enjoy games, puppets, object lessons, crafts, prizes, and Bible stories.

Monica Barker - Children's Director

Monica Barker

Monica has a love for children and teaching them about God. She has a bachelor's degree in applied behavioral Science from Ashford University and is continuing her studies in ministry leadership.

As Children's Director, Monica helps lead the KidMin team with a heart for creating safe, joyful, and faith-filled spaces where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in God's Word.

He's been helping in KidMin at UFC for around 3 years and loves helping God's people.

Meet Veronica

She's been helping in KidMin at UFC for about 2 years and loves working with the kids.

Some cool things about Veronica:

  • She's all about cooking
  • She loves her dogs-and all animals
  • Her favorite pastimes are biking and swimming and being outdoors

One of her favorite things about helping in KidMin at UFC is working with the kids and leading them to God.

We appreciate Veronica for her giant heart for the Lord and the ways she gently cares for the kids.

She's been helping in KidMin at UFC for about a year and loves seeing the kids happy.

  • She's very creative and loves all things art - especially drawing
